The arts mean business.
The City of Flagstaff has been working with a coalition of arts organizations and business leaders, including the Chamber of Commerce, to engage the public in discussions about the importance of strong arts and culture. In addition to helping a community compete for highly skilled workers, arts and culture also help existing companies retain employees.
A similar effort began in 2004 in Maricopa County when business leaders were having difficulties attracting professional talent to work in the area. To learn more about FABA, click here.
