Pulliam Airport is a commercial and general aviation airport that originally featured a single 6,999-foot runway. The airport recently underwent a major expansion that added 1,800 feet to the north end of the current runway and lengthened the taxiway. The goal of this expansion was to increasing the airport’s viability for commercial and regional jets.
In addition to expanding the runway, service was also extended to provide more options for business travelers and others. Service to daily connecting flights at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has been provided by US Airways Express operated by Mesa Airlines. Now travelers can fly directly to connecting flights in Los Angeles International Airport via Horizon Air.
